Forsbergs Copywriting is a two year higher vocational program for aspiring copywriters, storytellers, and scriptwriters. The program aims to provide professional training leading to a creative profession. The training program includes innovation in copywriting, advertising, communication, storytelling and script writing. Trying out new expressions and ways of thinking in vibrant and exciting projects. The emphasis is on ideation and developing creative ability, characterized by “learning by doing”. To date, approximately 97% of our graduates work in the industry within a year after graduation. The training lasts four semesters daytime. A total of 100 weeks. Regular class hours between 9:30 – 3:30 PM, but there is also some teaching in the evening and weekends. The school is open around the clock for your own work. Lessons consist of lectures, workshops, tutorials and presentations of various projects, individual work and group work.
Copywriting / advertising: Creative brainstorming. Associative writing, adapting one’s expression to various media. Typography, commercial communications, advertising campaigns, ads, brochures, commercials and brand name building. Innovative and experimentuell marketing. Webcopy, project work. Written communication. Script Writing, radio advertising, presentation techniques and rhetoric. Interactive writing and storytelling. Program management, media literacy. Minimum 20 weeks of professional on-the job training are included.
High school or equivalent education is a prerequisite. It is a merit if you have completed an evening course at Forsbergs, an equivalent education or have work experience. We value your talent and ability to solve the mandatory assignments in a creative and exciting way.
The qualification assessment and selection process is based on a screening of the assignments and an interview.
The tuition fee is SEK 260,000. The education is exempt from VAT (value-added tax). The program requires that you have access to your own laptop. Financing the tuition fee is possible for Swedish residents through tuition loans from CSN (Swedish financial aid for studies).
