The minor evening course in copywriting and advertising in the spring of 2009 is a good further education for those who have experience of writing the past and can solve copywriting and advertising tasks. The course allows you to do working samples, try different copywriting and advertising tasks and to develop your creative talents. It is also an incentive for existing professionals. Diploma after completing the evening course is very creditable for application to the full-time studies. Many of the students who have undergone the minor evening course have been adopted to the full-time studies. The teachers are all professionals and teach also at the full-time studies.
Starting dates. Tuesday February the 17th at 18.00.
Course Facts. We meet one evening a week, on Tuesdays between 18.00-20.30, one semester, eleven weeks. During lessons the teacher goes through the tasks that you may work with outside class time. It’s approved to work with the equipment you have access to, either digitally or with traditional drawing methods. Besides lectures on lessons you will present your work, discuss and participate in creative workshops. The course aims to provide insight and basic knowledge in the art of creating “selling copy”. Thus, communication that reaches the right audience and which has the desired effect. Some working material during class time is supplied by the school. In addition to the specified study time, you can expect 3-7 hours homework per week.
Content. Copywriting / advertising: Creative thinking and creative process work. Tasks suited to different media and situations. Commercial communications, advertising campaigns, ads. Creative communications, brand strategy, positioning, concept and copy platform. Script Writing, Storytelling: Manus, dramaturgy, presentation techniques, storytelling techniques.
Application. There are no formal requirements, however, the number of places on the course are limited. Admission is in the order notifications arrive.
Submission. Submit the registration form to Forsbergs Skola, Skinnarviksringen 6, 117 27 Stockholm. Final notification is Friday, Feb. the 13th.
Fee. Course fee for the entire course is 11.500 skr add VAT 2.875 skr. When adopted, you must confirm your place by paying an entry fee of 1.875 skr which is subtracted from the entire course fee. The remaining fee is paid before the course. The Minor evening course is not eligible for study aid.
Diploma. All students receive a diploma approved by the presence and effort.
