The course is primarily taught in Swedish and a basic grasp of the language is helpful, however all our teachers can speak English if needed.

The course is aimed at someone who has already developed their skills in illustration and now wants to take them to a higher level. How can you make your own work stand out from the competition? How can a professional illustrator find their own personal niche in the creative industries?

The classes run from 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm. A total of 12 classes. During the classes practical exercises and workshops are combined with feedback and presentations of your assignments. The school will provide materials for particular classes as necessary and beyond class-time you can expect about 2-5 hours self study each week.
We focus on personal development, but some of the topics that may be addressed include: Spot or object illustration, Icon illustration, Pattern design, 2D / 3D, Digital illustration tools and use, basic ideas for possible animation for web and digital communication
There are no formal requirements to be admitted to the course but you will need a laptop for in-class use. The number of participants is limited and admission is based on the order of the applications.

The tuition fee for the course is 18.750 SEK, VAT included (15.000 SEK excl. VAT). Once you have been accepted, and you have confirmed your spot, a tuition fee invoice will be sent. No material and or software are included. The course is not eligible for student aid.
