Forsbergs Game Design is a higher educational portfolio program for game designers and level designers. The program aims to give a creative and professional game development education, with emphasis on creative abilities and ideation, through “learning by doing”. The program is qualified for Swedish financial aid for studies (CSN).
Game Design is a full-time 110 weeks long portfolio program with 40 weeks of internship. Regular class hours are usually during daytime on weekdays. However, some classes may be scheduled in evenings and on weekends. The school is open around the clock for your own work. The training consist of lectures, workshops, tutorials and presentations of the various projects, individual work and group work.
Creative thinking, ideation and process oriented work. Game design, level design, balancing and quality assurance. AAA, serious games, apps and mobile games. Reward mechanisms and gamification. Scripting and coding. Game projects, agile development and presentation skills. Field studies at game development studios, industry orientation and internship.
The tuition fee is SEK 260.000. The education is exempt from VAT (value-added tax). The program requires that you have access to your own laptop. Financing the tuition fee is possible for Swedish residents through tuition loans from CSN (Swedish financial aid for studies). All students receive a diploma after passing the education in all sub-courses.

- Successful applicants will be called for an interview. Interviews for applicants living outside of Stockholm will be conducted via telephone or Skype.
- Confirmation of successful entry will usually be sent 2-3 weeks after you have completed the application form and sent in your work assignments.
