Forsbergs long evening course (25 weeks) in graphic design and advertising is aimed at someone who wants to work professionally with graphic design and advertising in the future. You’ll get the opportunity to develop a body of work that covers a large range of approaches and media in both areas and it’s a great way to create a portfolio that you can use in application to our full time education programs or elsewhere. It provides a really solid base if you who want to
develop your creative talent, and get the knowledge and skills necessary to advance in the professional industry. The Diploma you receive on completion of the course is not only a real plus in applying to our full-time education it’s a great addition to your CV. All our teachers are professionals in related industries and also include teachers from our full-time education.

We meet one evening a week, on Thursdays between 18.00 and 20.30, over two terms. Basic computer skills in related design programs are required. At the start of the course, you will be given a full course description, a compendium of information, and examples of creative work. Emphasis is placed on creative ideas and ideation and is on a more advanced level than our Basic course. You’ll have the chance to work with more complex and developed design project for print and other media. The course helps you build a unique and individual portfolio of work suited not just for further study but also relevant to your current professional work. The school provides some work materials for the classes. In addition to classroom work, you can expect an additional 2-5 hours of self-study each week. The course ends in the spring with an exhibition of all course participants’ work at the school.

Creative thinking, ideation, and creative work processes, typography, logotypes, layout application, advertising campaigns, communication solutions, design for printed matter (books posters), packaging design, concept design, graphic design programs, branding, corporate identity, digital communication and basic planning, positioning and advertising strategy.

To be accepted on the course applicants must submit a minimum of three examples of their own work in graphic design, illustration, photography or other related creative communication fields. Fill out the registration form online.

The tuition fee for the course is 14.000 SEK, VAT included (8.000 SEK excl. VAT) for each term(TOTAL: 28,000 SEK  16.000 SEK excl. VAT) Once you have been accepted, and you have confirmed your spot, a tuition fee invoice will be sent. The course is not eligible for student aid.

All students receive a diploma after successfully completing the course
