About the program

The education requires a developed capacity in Swedish and is recommended for applicants with a thorough command of the Swedish language in both written and spoken form.

Forsbergs Copywriting is a two year higher vocational program for aspiring copywriters, storytellers, and scriptwriters. The program aims to provide professional training leading to a creative profession. The education is exemplified by innovation in copywriting, advertising, communication, storytelling, and scriptwriting. Trying out new expressions and ways of thinking in vibrant and exciting projects. The emphasis is on ideation and developing creative ability, characterized by “learning by doing”. To date, approximately 97% of our graduates work in the industry within a year after graduation. The program is eligible for study aid through CSN.se.

The program lasts four semesters, a total of 100 weeks. Regular class hours are daytime Monday-Friday. However, some classes may be scheduled in the evenings and on weekends. The school is open around the clock for your own work. The training consists of lectures, workshops, tutorials, and presentations of various projects, individual work, and group work.

Content

Copywriting/Advertising: Creative brainstorming. Associative writing, adapting one’s expression to various media. Typography, commercial communications, advertising campaigns, ads, brochures, commercials and brand name building. Innovative and experimental marketing. Web copy, project work. Written communication. Script Writing, radio advertising, presentation techniques, and rhetoric. Interactive writing and storytelling, media literacy. Minimum of 20 weeks of professional on-the-job training are included.

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for the full program is SEK 295,000. The education is exempt from VAT (value-added tax). The program requires that you have access to your own laptop. Financing the tuition fee is possible for Swedish residents through tuition loans from CSN (Swedish financial aid for studies). The education is eligible for study aid under section B1 (tertiary level). Contact CSN to check your personal conditions. Please read more at www.csn.se.

Degree

All students receive a graduate diploma after passing the education in all sub-courses.

  3. Selected applicants will be invited to an interview. Students outside Stockholm can do the interview online.
  4. You will get a confirmation if you are accepted, 2-3 weeks after submitting your application.
