Creative – one year

Course start: Continuous Application
Application ends: Continuous Application
Course length: Creative – one year

Forsbergs School’s full-time program Creative is a professional training for those who want to work creatively with copywriting, design, and art direction. Here, you learn how ideas are formed, developed, and transformed into communication across text, image, and moving media.

The program focuses on creative work where expression, concept, and storytelling meet. You train your ability to think conceptually, work visually, and develop concepts that hold across channels. AI is used as a natural part of the creative process, supporting ideation, exploration, and production.

The Creative program is based on a “learning by doing” approach, where you continuously work in projects and develop your creative process through practical assignments. The program is not eligible for student financial aid.

The program runs for 50 weeks. Teaching takes place on weekdays and consists of lectures, workshops, supervision, and presentations in both group and individual projects. The work also includes real-world cases in collaboration with actual clients, where you work on assignments that reflect industry practice. An internship is included.

content

In Creative, you learn the fundamentals of creative ideation and how to develop concepts from initial idea to finished solution. The focus is on how copywriting, design, and art direction interact to create cohesive and effective communication.

We work with visual communication, typography, and form, as well as how storytelling is used to create engagement across different formats. The program covers content for digital channels, social media, and moving image.

You will also be introduced to and deepen your knowledge of relevant tools and workflows within design, publishing, and production, as well as how AI can be used as a creative tool throughout the process.

Through project work and real-world cases, you train to move from idea to finished delivery, present your work, and develop your ability to give and receive feedback. You will also build a portfolio that reflects your creative expression and process. An internship is included.
