Self Image

This piece looks at the idea of perfection through a more personal, psychological lens. The cracked mirror reflects how a perfectionist often sees themselves, locked onto flaws, never quite feeling enough. The disco ball, made from fragments of a broken mirror, moves in the opposite direction. What once felt like damage and weakness has been reshaped into something new.

Not perfect, but still beautiful. The work follows my personal growth and how I’ve come to see perfection, not as flawlessness, but as the ability to create meaning and beauty from what was once broken.
