Cathedral

From Notre-Dame Cathedral to Cologne Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Duomo Di Milano, churches and cathedrals were built as humanity’s attempt to connect Earth with Heaven. In striving for perfection, their builders used symbolism, sacred geometry, and divine light to create structures that transcended mere function. I use grid systems in posters much like geometry was used in cathedral design — as an underlying framework to the composition.
